A new implant tested in animals reverses drug overdoses
With continued development, the device has the potential to someday save human lives
This implantable device, not yet tested in humans, only animals, could someday help reduce opioid deaths, especially in high-risk individuals. It would be inserted under the skin, similar to a pacemaker.
